Q. When does the promotion run?
A. The promotion will start on 10th April 2023 00:01am and will close on 23:59pm 4th June 2023.
Q. How do I take part in the promotion?
A. If you are coming from UK (including NI) you can enter the promotion by following the below steps:
- Buy a promotional pack of New York Bakery Co. Bagels.
- Register your unique on-pack entry code at nybco-takeontheday.com before 4th June 2023.
- Entrants will receive immediate notification if they’ve won a prize via an on-screen message.
- If you’re a winner of a NYBCo Tin or NYBCo Mug, you will need to supply your postal details so that we can send your prize to you. If you’re a winner of the Ultimate Christmas Break in NYC, we’ll contact you within seven working days and you’ll have 14 days to confirm acceptance of the prize. If you don’t respond back within the 14 working days, you’ll lose your right to claim the prize.
If you are coming from the Republic of Ireland (ROI) you can enter the promotion by following the below steps:

- Claim a free entry code by heading to the promotional website nybco-takeontheday.com and completing the No Purchase Necessary (NPN) form by the 2nd June 2023. Once submitted, you will receive your free entry code via email within 24 hours.
- Entrants will receive immediate notification if they’ve won a prize via an on-screen message.
- If you’re a winner of a NYBCo Tin or NYBCo Mug, you will need to supply your postal details so that we can send your prize to you. Q. What are the prizes available?
A. There are 2,003 prizes available to be won in total. 1,000 NYBCo Tins, 1,000 ‘Take On The Day’ Mugs and three Ultimate Christmas Breaks in NYC.
Q. I’ve won a Tin or Mug, when will I receive my prize?
A. You’ll receive your prize within 28 days of you accepting it and successfully submitting your delivery details.

Q. What’s does the Ultimate Christmas Break in NYC prize entail?
A. Three nights’ stay at a luxury accommodation (4* min) with daily breakfast for four people (2 adults/2 under-16s). Return economy flights from a London airport to New York with private station-to-hotel transfers in NY. Ice skating tickets at the Rockefeller Center, including skate hire and admission tickets to the Top of the Rock observation deck. Two hour Christmas lights & sights guided walking tour in Manhattan. A three -course family meal at a NYC restaurant, up to the value of £/€200. Lastly, £/€500 spending money.
Q. How do I find a promotional pack of NYBCo. Bagels?
A. Our promotional packs will be available at all major retailers. This includes; Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Morrison’s, Waitrose and The Co-Op.
Q. What packs NYBCo. packs are included?
A. The promotion is available across our full range of five pack bagels. Including The Original, Sesame, Cinnamon and Raisin, Red Onion and Chive and Wholemeal. Simply look out for the promotional packaging.
In Ireland the promotion will be available on The Original, Sesame and Cinnamon and Raisin. Look out for the promotional packaging!
Q. Where can I find the on-pack entry code?
A. Each promotional pack of New York Bakery Co. Bagel’s will have a unique code printed on the inside the pack behind the black square.
Q. How do I claim my free entry code (ROI residents)?
A. If you are coming from ROI, you can claim a free entry code via the NPN route found on the promotional website here.
To claim your free entry code you will need to complete the NPN form by the 2nd June 2023. You will need to submit your name, email address and EIR code. Once submitted, will receive your free entry code via email within 24 hours. You can then enter the prize draw by registering your entry code at www.nybco-takeontheday.com, before 4th June 2023.
Q. Can I enter this promotion more than once?
A. Sure, if you are coming from UK (including NI) you can enter as many times as you want. You will simply need to get a hold of a new code each time by buying a promotional pack of NYBCo. Bagels.
If you are coming from ROI then you will be able to claim up to five free entries via the NPN route. See the question ‘How do I take part in the promotion’ for details.
Q. Is there a cap to number of times I can win?
A. The number of times you can win is capped at five per person, per household for NYBCo Tins and Mugs. And a maximum of one win honoured per person, per household for the Ultimate Christmas Break in NYC. So keep buying more promotional packs of NYBCo. Bagels to be in with a chance to win more prizes.
Q. My code isn’t working, what do I do?
A. If you’re having an issue with entering your on-pack code or free entry code please check the following:
- Have you registered this code already? Each code can only be entered once.
- Please check that you have entered the code correctly. There are 6 characters in total and some letters can look a bit like numbers and vice versa.
- Are you entering the code within the promotional period?

Q. I haven’t received my free entry code via email yet, what do I do?
A. If you haven’t received your free entry code yet, please check the following:
- Did you complete the NPN form first to get request your free code? You will need to do this first. Please see question ‘How do I claim my free entry code (ROI residents)?’ for details.
- Has it been 24 hours or more? Sometimes it can take up to 48 hours for the email to be received so please allow this time for the email to be received.
- Check your junk mail/ spam box to see if it has been sent there. Sometimes certain email providers will move promotional emails here.
